STRATEGIC ASSOCIATE, providing Business Development (services available to Directors, VPs, President/CEO)

  • Conduct research to identify and inform new business opportunities
  • Develop materials and strategies for business meetings
  • Attend new business presentations, take notes, and develop a plan for next steps
  • Draft and revise related presentations, proposals, budgets, and correspondence
  • Ensure appropriate follow-up on new business opportunities identified by the team
  • Coordinate overall firm process for developing new business
  • Manage strategic alliance relationships
  • Prepare relevant materials for monthly meeting. Prior to meeting interact with all participants to secure the information is completely up to date on reports to be utilized, including:
    • List of current projects
    • List of potential new projects
    • New business opportunities


  • Lead development of RFPs and manage any staff who assist in the process
  • Develop yearly conference calendar: identify team members to attend conferences; track attendance and business opportunities that result from conference attendance. Prepare team members for presentations at conferences as needed.
  • Interface with marketing efforts as they pertain to business development needs
  • Oversee process for approval of all proposals across the organization

  • Minimum of five years’ work experience preferred or equivalent experience and poise that demonstrates the ability to manage the work required

  • Willingness to work hard and take direction; creatively solve problems for which the answers aren’t always obvious
  • Up to 40 percent travel including some on nights and weekends when travel resumes
