Anica comes to VOZ Advisors with extensive experience in patient advocacy, thriving on building relationships to drive meaningful change in the healthcare space. She is driven by a strong belief that the patient voice should shape every phase of drug development, helping to inform research priorities, improve clinical trial design, and ultimately lead to more meaningful outcomes for patients.

Before joining VOZ, Anica spent 13 years at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. In her most recent role, she led the organization’s industry partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies, working to advance innovation and drive change in pancreatic cancer research and therapies.

Earlier in her career at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, she was an integral part of the Patient Services team, providing critical information and resources to individuals and families navigating a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. This experience reinforced her commitment to patient advocacy and the importance of equipping patients with the tools they need to make informed decisions and advocate for themselves through challenging circumstances.

Anica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
