Bettina Shaju

Bettina is dedicated to advocating for equitable healthcare access and ensuring that every patient receives high-quality care, regardless of background or circumstances. Her work in health policy and mental health has driven her passion for improving patient outcomes through systemic change and policy-driven solutions.

Before joining VOZ Advisors, Bettina served as an Infection Control Associate at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she collaborated with the Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control (HEIC) team and Infection Preventionists to develop and implement infection control programs. In this role, she assessed hospital staff adherence to hygiene protocols, provided feedback on infection control practices, and led training sessions on infection prevention.

Bettina holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice and Policy from the same institution.
